We’re thankful that 3300 of you around the world have chosen to go through a GAN accelerator.
But not only are we thankful – we’re proud of you because you’ve done incredibly well. Here’s what we mean…
You’re raising the money you need to grow. If you’ve gone through a GAN accelerator, you typically raise an average of $923K. A majority of you are getting funded within 12 months of graduation and most of this funding is coming from your local angel investors.
You’re creating a ton of jobs. On average each of you has created almost 7 jobs. Even cooler is the fact that most of you are keeping your company’s headquarters in the city where you went through the accelerator which means a lot of new, local jobs.
You’re staying in business. 83% of you that have gone through a GAN accelerator are either still in business or acquired. The startup world is risky, but this speaks to your teams’ hard work and the support from your accelerator, mentors, and investors.
This translates into some pretty powerful numbers. 22,000 jobs have been created that didn’t exist a few years ago. 2,700 companies are still in business throughout the world. And $4.3B in funding has been invested in you to create valuable companies around the world.
