Announcing the Corporate Partner Network

Giving entrepreneurs the power to create and grow their business doesn’t stop with accelerators. Corporations around the world are uniquely positioned to support growing companies by providing resources, tools, connections and services that help startups run well.

Recently the White House made several announcements alongside the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) that were focused on supporting inclusive entrepreneurship & innovation in America. Included in those announcements was news of GAN’s launch of the Partner Network.

Ten major companies came together to form this new network. The initial Partner Network members include companies such as IBM, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Neustar, Hubspot, Keen.io, and Sendgrid.

The Partner Network started with an informal gathering of companies in March 2016 whose goal was to figure out the best ways to support startups everywhere. After that first meeting together and encouragement from The White House, this became an official network of partners. The next Partner Network meeting will be held in Denver, Colorado on October 2-3, 2016. Any corporation who has a passion and record of supporting startups can join. Members will work together to develop a shared understanding of the needs of entrepreneurs, small businesses, and startup ecosystems, and to develop a set of best practices among corporations interested in working with startups to help them grow.
