Moving Beyond the Startup Phase: Announcing The GAN Post-Accelerator Program

A common request we hear echoed throughout our community is for a post-accelerator program that helps the many startups who need support beyond the accelerator cohort to effectively scale their business. Company growth relies on access to capital, strategic partnerships, customer exposure, mentor guidance and more. Sometimes all it takes to make those connections and grow relationships is being in the right place at the right time and with the right people. That is why we have created and are announcing the first ever GAN Post-Accelerator Program: Scale School. This program is designed to create the opportunities for growth stage startups who have graduated from GAN accelerator programs to make these connections and relationships with the right mentors, partners, and investors.

Curating the connections startups need all in the same place at the same time.

What is the GAN Post-Accelerator Program?

This exclusive program will help GAN Startups move beyond the startup phase by equipping them with the mentorship and connections needed for their next stage of growth. Scale School is designed to support and navigate startups through the process of operationally scaling their business while generating meaningful relationships with GAN corporate partners, mentors and investors.

What Should Startup Participants Expect?

This program will be available to GAN startups at zero cost, and zero equity will be taken from them. This is yet another way GAN is looking to support the next wave of startups from across our global community.

There is zero cost for startups to participate and zero equity will be taken.

Programming will focus on company scale and growth, working with corporate partners, and how to raise capital for those who are fundraising. Participating startups in the program will convene in Las Vegas, Nevada one week per month for the three month Fall 2017 cohort to receive mentorship, peer-to-peer support, and the opportunity to build relationships with potential corporate partners, investors, mentors and new customers. The first cohort will be this fall and will run from October 2017 to January 2018. Startups will come together one week each month in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it will culminate in a showcase event in Vegas during CES 2018 (January 9-12, 2018).

GAN will support participating startups with a stipend to help cover some of the costs of travel to and from Las Vegas during the program. Each week that is not spent in Las Vegas, participating companies will join an all-cohort call as well as an individual call with the Program Director.

The program will be held at the RedFlint Experience Center in Las Vegas and is made possible by sponsorship from the The University of Phoenix.

Who Should Apply?

Startups and founders who have previously attended a GAN accelerator and are now seeking specific mentorship about how to scale their business. Applicants should be open to forming strategic partnerships with corporate partners and may be seeking additional investment. Proven traction is a must, as well as being willing and able to commit to three weeks on site over a three month period in Las Vegas.
