New Member: StartUp42

Welcome StartUp42, the newest member of the Global Accelerator Network!

Located in Paris, France StartUp42 is a 4-month non-profit startup accelerator aimed at helping early-stage technology startups develop their initial prototype and validate initial assumptions

StartUp42 was founded in 2013 by Daniel Jarjoura, a computer engineer who moved early on to the dark side of the force (aka market and biz dev). StartUp42 is supported by EPITA, one of France’s leading computer engineering school, as well as a network of local and international companies like France Télévisions or Salesforce.com. StartUp42 mentors include local entrepreneurs, international executives, researchers and designers.

Out of the seven companies accelerated during their first session (March-July 2013), six remain in operation. From those companies more than 20 jobs were created, $300K funds were raised and more funding announcements are on the way.

We had to ask, why 42? From the StartUp42 team: Because 42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything. You should know that.
