Culture

Values are the bedrock of the best organizations.

From GAN's staff culture, to the accelerators in our community, to the companies we partner with, and the ventures we fund, you're looking at a network firmly rooted in these beliefs.

Our Values

Culture at GAN

Humanity.

Create environments where people are empowered to fulfill who they set out to be.

Service.

Exhibit a level of selflessness that makes people question our sainthood.

Integrity.

Deliver what we say we’ll deliver, and be honest early and often when we face challenges.

Action.

Get stuff done. Continually grow and evolve based on the needs of our community, and work to proactively know those needs.

Celebration.

Pop a cork when people reach greater heights. After all, getting stuff done doesn't mean you have to be boring.

Drive.

A deep determination to do whatever is appropriately necessary to support our clients, colleagues, and ourselves.

Our Staff

Patrick Riley

CEO

Pat has a healthy obsession with supporting startups, strongly believing that founders and entrepreneurs are uniquely positioned to positively impact the world. When he's not too busy cracking jokes in the office, he loves spending time with his wife and daughters around Denver, and helping empower startups around the world. He's proud to be GAN because we’re giving startups the opportunity to create impact in their communities.

Dani Larson

COO

A wizard at building and implementing processes, Dani helps to oversee all things GAN and keeps our team rowing in sync and in the right direction. She loves foreign languages, and we've seen her go from navigating through the streets of Paris one day to leading a workshop with accelerators in Chile the next. We're convinced she really can do it all. She's proud to be GAN because our members' values are contagious—continually putting founders first.

Reilly Flynn

Reilly has driven the mission and investment thesis of GAN Ventures since its very beginning. He works hard every day to build a community of engaged investors who bring value to startups as the GAN Ventures portfolio grows. He loves biographies, drinking La Croix, spending time with his family and employing puns at every opportunity. He's proud to be GAN because he gets to work with world-changing founders and organizations every day.

Jake Smith

Director of Customer Success

With a passion for building, nurturing, and growing customer relationships, Jake is responsible for creating GAN’s customer success strategy and leading its customer success team. He loves traveling and exploring new places, gathering around the table with good food and drink with family and friends, and being in the water, preferably the ocean but since he lives in Colorado he’s not picky. Jake is proud to be GAN because of its culture and values, and the opportunity to live out of and share those values with others on a daily basis.

Lizzie Crough

From orchestrating incredible events to addressing community needs—Lizzie is the glue that brings our accelerators together. She loves family time, bluegrass music, sub-freezing temps, and her happy place is on a running trail hours before the sun comes up. But after spending her day nurturing accelerator relationships, she feels proud to be GAN because she leaves every day feeling humbled to work with such an inspirational community.

Nate Nasralla

Having lived the founding experience from startup to acquisition, Nate’s now on a mission to expand GAN's global partnerships and get our community of startups the resources they need to succeed. Outside the office, he loves biking, hiking, and climbing the Rocky Mountains with his wife and chocolate lab, and he’s proud to be GAN because here, our founders always come first.

Regan Smith

Regan is a Denver local who's passionate about giving back to the community she grew up in. She has a background in marketing and entrepreneurship and an obsession with planning. From curating events, to travel, to day-to-day schedules, she thrives in an environment where she can bring order to chaos. She loves bonsai trees, dinner parties, and dancing. And, she's proud to be GAN because she believes building meaningful community is essential to human growth and happiness.

Gus Gehlen

Global Partnerships Manager

Gus helps founders get the resources they need to grow their business by expanding GAN's network of Fortune 500 companies and top accelerators around the world. Gus loves music, exploring the outdoors, and working on his startup. He is proud to be GAN because GAN not only supports startups, but also founders and their well being.

John Moore

With a passion for the startup ecosystem, John is responsible for facilitating relationships between corporate partners and startups in order for both parties to achieve their maximum potential. He loves all things outdoors, but primarily skiing in the winter and backpacking in the summer months. When not outside, he’s in Denver hosting friends and family for dinner parties and get-togethers. John is proud to be GAN because the connections made here have the potential to be truly life-changing for founders.

Emma Rosse

Emma Rosse

With a history of working with early-stage startups, Emma lights up when unprecedented ideas are introduced to the world. She finds inspiration connecting with leaders and creators and strives to help them on their entrepreneurial journey.

Today, she helps startups get the resources they need to grow by expanding the Global Startup Studio Network (GSSN). She loves skiing, mountain biking, and making pottery for friends and fam. She's proud to be GAN because of the opportunity to build a global community with a shared goal: to learn from one another.

Jonathan Dickerson

Head of Global Partnerships

With a passion for serving others, Jonathan leads GAN’s amazing team of partnership builders and helps corporate partners build relationships with GAN’s growing network of startups.

He loves snowboarding in the winter, swimming in the summer, and motorcycling any day weather permits. His family, friends, church, and volunteering keep his bucket full year-round. Jonathan is proud to be GAN because pairing the right partners with the right startups can be game-changing, and fulfilling.

Sole Mingo-Ordónez

A love for people and service fuels Sole’s drive to connect at a deeper level. As part of GAN’s Community Success team, she cheerfully takes care of the needs of our accelerator members and supports their founders – in a couple of different languages.

She loves traveling anywhere and everywhere, spending time with her two teenagers, trying new recipes, and celebrating life with friends at the table. She is proud to be GAN, where our values are put into action on a daily basis.

Marty Foy

Growth Marketing Manager

Marty walks a tightrope between marketing and technology at GAN. In his role, he supports our team by thinking through how GAN uses technology to communicate to our many communities and their members.

He loves opening his home to friends for parties and BBQs. On the weekends, you can find him in the mountains, hiking trails, or on a lake paddleboarding his day away. He is proud to be GAN because the work we do here is important to building a whole economy that works better for many people the world over.

Lara Zimmerman

Project Manager

As head of Know-How, Lara is responsible for defining and delivering content to our customers and making sure all projects are coordinated and delivered seamlessly.

She loves gathering with friends and family, meeting new people, studying human behavior, and turning ideas into reality. She's proud to be GAN because she gets to support founders' passions globally while working with fantastic colleagues.
