AlphaLab

AlphaLab is a Pittsburgh-based startup accelerator founded by Innovation Works, one of the most active seed-stage investors in the nation. Twice a year we select six startups to participate in our 20-week program. During our program you’ll rapidly iterate on your product; test your business model; attend educational sessions; build your network; and drink lots and lots of coffee. At the end of the program you’ll present your company to investors, corporate customers, and media at AlphaLab Demo Day. Our program is longer than most accelerators, enabling you to make significantly more progress–on the product and business front–before Demo Day. By limiting our cycles to six companies, we ensure that your startup will get attention and hands-on support from the AlphaLab team, the staff at Innovation Works, your mentors and advisors, and the Pittsburgh business community. Notable alumni include The Resumator, NoWait, Shoefitr, Black Locus & Insurance Zebra.
