Blue Bio Value Acceleration is a 7-week program based in Lisbon, Portugal. The program emerged from the dual challenge of protecting our ocean and sustainably making use of the immense resources it presents to society, focusing on supporting and equipping ventures with the capital, skills and network they need to attract investment, scale their ideas and maximize their impact. 2021 marks the 4th edition of the program. This year it has selected 18 inspiring startups from 10 different countries focusing on ocean-solutions.
Blue Bio Value is promoted by the Oceano Azul Foundation and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The Bluebio Alliance is the bluebio technical partner while MAZE implements it and connects the expertise with the startups.
