Velocity

Velocity is Birmingham’s premier startup accelerator. It provides early-stage, equity-driven, seed-funding and immersive startup acceleration services to emerging high-growth startups in the region. Once per year, Innovation Depot invests up to $50k into each startup progressing through Velocity. Startups move to Birmingham for three months, and we help to prepare them for investor approaches. During this intensive three month period, startups are showered with resources and paired with mentors who are entrepreneurs and founders of successful ventures. At program conclusion, Velocity startups pitch to investors during Demo Day.
