Who can apply?
gBETA Musictech works exclusively with startups building music-related products, services or content. This includes technologies related to sourcing, recording, production, distribution, marketing, touring, licensing and streaming as well as any technology or process innovations that could serve any component of the music industry.
Do startups need to be located in Los Angeles or Detroit to apply?
gBETA Musictech accepts applications from startups across the globe. However, gBETA Musictech requires that at least one founder from each startup be located in-person for the duration of the program.
What stage do I need to be at?
gBETA accepts companies from napkin stage through post-revenue.
What kind of commitment do you need from me?
The weekly commitment is two, hour-long team meetings, a two-hour “Mentor Swarm,” and an hour-long “Learn & Learn” series. During the last week and a half,gBETA Musictech needs flexibility for full days of investor and accelerator pitches.
