No run knows this better than GAN which is why we’re heading to MENA to host a 3-day Accelerator Workshop for some of the regions top accelerator leaders. These 3-day events are designed to help accelerators like you connect with others in your region, find sustainable program models that works in your local ecosystem, and explore the challenges that accelerators face today.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is specifically designed for accelerator leadership (individuals or teams) from all geographies, verticals, and specializations who are currently operating accelerator programs or plan to restructure or launch a new program within the next year.


Tickets are $3,500 USD per person for an individual or $2,200 USD per person for a team of two or more. This does not include your travel and hotel accommodation.

Over the course of our three days together, you will dig deep into the pain points that current accelerators are facing and unveil viable solutions from some of GAN’s most well-established programs in the region to help identify a sustainable accelerator model that will thrive in your unique ecosystem.

    We will cover some of the most pressing structural and strategic questions facing those who are currently operating accelerators.
  2. Collaboration with Peers & Leaders
    Get to know leaders in the room, work as a group to address challenges brought forth by individual participants, and have fun doing it.

    Leave with actionable steps to improve your accelerator, comprehensive notes from each workshop session, and GAN’s Accelerator Guide.

The workshop will be lead by members of the GAN team along with special guest Sami Abou Saab.

Sami Abou Saab

Guest Speaker

Sami Abou Saab is the Founder and CEO of Speed@BDD, Lebanon’s first ecosystem-backed startup accelerator. Since its launch in July of 2015, Speed@BDD has ran five batches and accelerated 34 startups across Lebanon and greater MENA region. Sami has more than 13 years of experience in technology, both in startups and big tech firms. Prior to Speed@BDD, Sami worked for Skype and Microsoft Corporation in the US and went on to launch his own company, MobiLock, which was voted best startup in the Berkeley MBA entrepreneurship program. Sami holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from Berkeley-Haas and London Business School.

How to Apply

GAN Accelerator Workshops are open by application for accelerator operators. This will be a small, curated group of top accelerator leaders who are focused on building sustainable programs to support startups in their ecosystem.
